THEFT OF VEHICLE'S

Good evening,

Hope everyone is keeping hydrated.

This alert message is regarding an increase of thefts of vehicles targeted around the last bank holiday weekend.

As follows:-

Ford Ranger from Bells End Road Walton-on-Trent in the early hours of Sunday 24th May - Occurrence No. 26000300472 

Ford Ranger from Mount Pleasant Road, Castle Gresley between Saturday 23rd May 18.00hrs - 06.00am Sunday 24th - but this was recovered in Staffs - Occurrence No. 26000300475.

Attempted theft of BMW on Cauldwell Road, Linton between the early hours of Sunday morning on 24th May 01.00hrs - 17.25hrs -  Occurrence No. 26000301479 .

Then on May 5th between 23.59hrs - to May 6th at 00.55hrs a BMW was stolen on Mount Pleasant Road, Castle Gresley - Occurrence No.26000260928.

All vehicles were targeted by criminals using a signal device, by the detection of the key signal in property to start up the victims vehicle.

If you use Faraday pouches/tins then remember to also hide away your spare key in a Faraday pouch/tin as well.
